Objective: To design, maintain, monitor and enhance programs, policies and procedures in relation to Learning, Career Development in order to identify and plan for career progression routes of employees.
To lead the development and execution of appropriate learning plans for career and competency development. To provide support for individual training where needed.
Work to be performed:

1. Leads the development of effective employee onboarding and upskilling programs
2. Establish process and procedures associated with the management of such programs
3. Coach hiring managers to ensure employees are properly onboarded
4. Helps management solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
5. Monitor onboarding process rollout to ensure successful delivery and a quality experience for all employees
6. Work closely with the HR Leadership Team and management team to lead the design, development, implementation, communication, and administration of performance management
7. Develop materials and conduct training, as needed, to ensure that all performance management tools are accurately understood and exercised
8. Produces training materials for in-house courses where needed
9. Researches new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and presenting this research
10. Generates appropriate reports that measure the impact of training received by employees.
11. Follows-up on expectations, the well-being as well of the points of satisfaction or dissatisfaction of the staff, the managers, the Direction and the HR Unit and proposes pertinent solutions to nurture an positive organizational culture, aligned with our values and ambitions
12. Provides appropriate reports and analysis of learning needs to support the budgeting process for learning and career development activities
13. May perform other related duties as required by the company.

Establish, plan, organize and control policies, procedures and methods within the department; maintain relationships with employees, customers, contractors, vendors, general public; may be responsible for other employees. Job Working Conditions:
This position requires long hours in a seated position at a computer. This position may require flexible hours at times to complete specific HR projects.
Skills needed:
- Experience in contributing to training on technical processes with managers and operators;
- Ability to negotiate and challenge managers and providers;
- Knowledge of learning and development best practices;
- Knowledge of performance appraisal best practices;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment;
- Excellent command of English, both written and oral;

Education / Experience:
- 4-10 years of experience in one of the following areas: talent management, HR, operations management, recruiting, or have studied this field in university
Qualification Assessment:
Ongoing informal observation/assessment of work performance provides continuing evidence of capabilities and proficiencies.

Salary Range: Up to $90k.
