Business Development Manager

We looking for a Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, develop relationships with potential clients, and expand our customer base in the precision manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machining and the ability to adapt to emerging technologies in the field.
Responsibilities
● Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new clients and expand business with existing ones
● Identify and pursue new market opportunities within the precision manufacturing industry
● Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies
● Collaborate with the production team to understand our current and potential future capabilities, communicating them effectively to prospective clients
● Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients
● Negotiate contracts and close deals
● Attend industry trade shows and networking events to promote our services
● Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategy
● Work closely with management to set and achieve sales targets
● Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts
● Stay informed about advancements in CNC technology and identify potential areas for company expansion
Qualifications
● Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
● 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the precision manufacturing or CNC machining industry
● Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, with particular knowledge of lathe and milling operations
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
● Ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into value propositions for clients
● Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
● Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience with various CNC operations beyond lathe and milling
● Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
● Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
Salary Range: Base Salary $70k
