Position Overview:

• Skill / ability and knowledge to perform Bright Cadmium on steel and aluminum alloys.
• Able to perform all pre-plating operations including cleaning and blasting as required.
• Able to perform post plating operations such as embrittlement relief and chromate.
• Able to use micrometers, calipers and thickness testers. Simple surface area calculations required.

Skills and Experience

• Background in plating procedures an asset
• Familiarization and use of precision measuring instruments
• Basic knowledge of math and chemistry as it applies to plating field
